Launched in 2021, the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion  and Belonging website is a centralized space for the Wingate community to learn, research, find help, reach out and discover what Wingate intends to do through initiatives and programming.

Bias Assessment Team

The purpose of the Bias Incident Assessment Team is to review bias-related incidents to gain a better understanding of the reality and climate of the institution and raise awareness of bias incidents that impact the Wingate community. Additionally, the Bias Incident Assessment Team will provide support and guidance to those impacted by these incidents by connecting them to campus resources that provide additional assistance and support.

Programming

To enhance a culture of inclusion, we coordinate transformative programs and trainings to foster open dialogue that addresses diversity and equity. Our goal is to create learning opportunities that reflect the experiences of under-represented communities in an effort to move toward a more just society.
