Welcome to the Wingate University Department of Music! We celebrate both our rich tradition of music-making and our important work of cultivating leaders in the field of music. The Wingate University Department of Music, accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), is widely recognized as one of the finest programs among liberal arts universities in the Southeast. Our students and ensembles have performed at state (NCMEA), regional (ACDA) and national (CBDNA) conferences. We have 100% job placement for our music education graduates, and many of our graduates have continued on to graduate school, including such esteemed programs as The Ohio State University, Louisiana State University and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music.
