Faith and academic excellence go hand-in-hand at Wingate University.

Wingate University strives to create an atmosphere in which students mature in their understanding and application of our motto: Faith, Knowledge, Service. Our cultural and religious programming allows students to grow in knowledge even beyond what is taught in the classroom.

How Can You Get Involved?

Student Ministries assists those who may be asking themselves, “What does God want me to do with my life?” However, you don’t have to ask deep questions to connect with Student Ministries. A variety of opportunities are available to help you grow in your faith.

College can be especially challenging for new students, sometimes overwhelming. We seek to reassure you that you are exactly where you are meant to be at this time in your life. Remember that you are not here alone.

The Koinonia Community

Koinonia, (n): ‘communion and joint participation.’

Through the Koinonia community, we strive to connect students of all cultures and backgrounds with a deeper understanding of acceptance, service, and faith. We want to send them further down a spiritual path that goes beyond Bible studies and fellowship, and connect them with a deep spiritual insight with themselves, their peers, and their faith.

CARE PACKAGES

Purchase Care Package

Care packages are a wonderful way to show your student support and encouragement during final exams. Care packages will be delivered on Reading Day.

Student Ministries’ Care Package proceeds will fund student’s retreats, study materials and an upcoming mission trips.

There are three types of care packages that you can purchase: basic, deluxe, and premium. Basic packages are a voluntary donation, while the deluxe and premium packages have a minimum donation amount. We receive voluntary donations from $1-$200 and everything in between. We are thankful for your participation.
