Wet Plate Collodion is a 19th century, photographic technique that produces images on metal plates, and was invented by Frederick Archer in 1851. The process involves adding a soluble iodide to a solution of collodion (cellulose nitrate) and coating a glass plate with the mixture.
Helms Art Gallery is a vibrant space in which faculty works challenge, inspire and educate students through visual art.
