We want to ensure you’re as healthy in body as in mind. There’s no shortage of ways for you to get fit or stay in shape. We offer outstanding campus facilities with a broad range of intramural sports, fitness classes, sports clubs, outdoor trips and recreation events. Amenities
The two-story McGee Center opened in 2017 with:
- A multipurpose activity court
- A suspended running track
- Areas for weight and cardio training
- Racquetball courts
- Spacious locker rooms
- Two basketball courts
- Two fitness studios
Wingate University students, faculty and staff can use the McGee Center at no charge. A WU ID card is required to enter. There is a fee for an optional towel service and to work with a personal fitness trainer.
Employment
You can get a job leading fitness classes, reffing a game or managing the facilities. Meanwhile, you’re developing marketable skills that will help you succeed after graduation.
