Unity House Multicultural Center

The Unity House Multicultural Center is a prime example of how Wingate University collaborates with students, faculty, staff and the community to promote an inclusive, diverse and equitable learning environment.

To enhance a culture of inclusion, we coordinate transformative programs and trainings to foster open dialogue that addresses diversity and equity. Our goal is to create learning opportunities that reflect the experiences of under-represented communities in an effort to move toward a more just society.

New this fall, the Unity House is designed as a haven for under-represented students, a place for them to get cultural and personal support and to develop their leadership skills. The house features a conference room, study lounges and a kitchen as well as outside spaces for events.
