Registered Student Organizations
A Registered Student Organization (RSO) is a group of students who gather together for a similar interest. An RSO provides students the opportunity to become involved and engaged in the Wingate community. There are many benefits to joining a student organization: making new friends, developing new skills and abilities, working as part of a team, learning to set and achieve goals, sharing your time and talents, as well as having fun.
Wingate's RSOs fall into six areas: Academic, Cultural, Faith-Based, General Interest, Social Fraternities and Sororities, and Sports and Recreation. There is something for everyone and if you're interested in starting a club, please contact the Campus Involvement Office.
Greek Life
Greek Life at Wingate University consists of three different councils (NPC, IFC and NPHC). There are a total of 11 active organizations on campus and all hold recruitment activities throughout the year, advertised on their individual social medias and through school resources. Greek Life at Wingate University is dedicated to promoting a community of sisterhood and brotherhood. Each organization focuses on different aspects of academics, philanthropy and community and campus involvement.
