Student Ministries
Faith and academic excellence go hand-in-hand at Wingate University.
Wingate University strives to create an atmosphere in which students mature in their understanding and application of our motto: Faith, Knowledge, Service. Our cultural and religious programming allows students to grow in knowledge even beyond what is taught in the classroom.
How Can You Get Involved?
Student Ministries assists those who may be asking themselves, “What does God want me to do with my life?” However, you don’t have to ask deep questions to connect with Student Ministries. A variety of opportunities are available to help you grow in your faith.
CARE PACKAGES
Care packages are a wonderful way to show your student support and encouragement during final exams. Care packages will be delivered on Reading Day. Student Ministries’ Care Package proceeds will fund student’s retreats, study materials and an upcoming mission trips.
There are three types of care packages that you can purchase: basic, deluxe, and premium. Basic packages are a voluntary donation, while the deluxe and premium packages have a minimum donation amount. We receive voluntary donations from $1-$200 and everything in between. And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.Acts 2:42-47
