Students take GPS and introductory education courses, in addition to Calculus and Analytic Geometry I and II during their freshman year. Sophomores continue education and math courses and apply for the teacher education program when they earn 45 hours. Students focus mainly on math courses the second semester of junior year and first semester of senior year. Math and education majors gather teaching experience during their last semester.
