students listening to their instructorWingate University, like other accredited physician assistant programs, uses the Central Application Service for Physician Assistants (CAPSA) service. CASPA is supported by the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) to standardize and simplify the application process.

If you are interested in applying to the fall 2017 class for PA students, you may submit your application through CASPA until January 15, 2017. Admission to the Wingate University program is handled by a dedicated PA admissions officer who oversees the application process for both campuses. Your application may be considered for only one campus, so please make your choice before submitting your information to CASPA.

2 Campuses, 1 Program

The Hendersonville campus accepts 10 students yearly and offers an educational experience in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. We offer opportunities to work in in this area in a variety of environments that include underserved populations as well as world-class healthcare providers in state-of-the-art facilities. The Wingate campus accepts 40 students per year.

Your CASPA application is forwarded to Wingate University, so there is no need to send it to the school. The only document that must be submitted directly to the PA program is your official GRE scores report.
