You know where you’re headed, and it’s a career in sport management. Our 4 + 1 Master of Arts in Sport Management (MASM) degree puts you on the fast track.
Our innovative 4 + 1 MASM degree allows students to complete both their undergraduate and graduate degrees within five years. That means lower tuition costs and one less year in school before you can start your dream job.
How It Works
Wingate University students admitted to the MASM 4 + 1 program are allowed to take specific graduate-level sport management courses in place of undergraduate electives beginning in their senior year. By taking these courses, students get a head start on their graduate degree and are able to enter the job market with an advanced degree sooner than those who follow the traditional approach.
Who Is Eligible
The 4 + 1 MASM program was designed for students who demonstrate above-average academic achievement during the first three years of their undergraduate education. Only Wingate University undergraduates are eligible for admission to our MASM 4 + 1 program.
This fast-track master’s program is the right choice for those seeking careers in the sport industry:
- Collegiate and secondary school athletic administration
- Municipal sport programs
- Professional and amateur sport organizations
- Sport governing bodies
MASM 4+1 Degree Requirements
Candidates for the Master of Arts in Sport Management degree must complete a minimum of 36 credit hours of coursework in accordance with the prescribed course of study and maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher.
