Peer Tutoring

Follow our How To Guide for finding a peer tutor and scheduling an appointment using the Wingate TracCloud system.

• Faculty recommendations are required to become a peer tutor

• All peer tutors must have made an A or B in the course for which they are recommended

• All peer tutors must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 or higher

• All peer tutors must participate in CRLA training and complete level 1 training by the end of their first year.

• Students can earn up to a master level tutor certification while working at Wingate! This looks great on your resume and graduate school applications.

Peer Tutor Application

Faculty must fill out the Peer Tutor Recommendation Form, which can be accessed via the employee intranet (under "Faculty Tools), to confirm the recommendation of a peer tutor applicant or to submit a recommendation for recruiting peer tutors.
