As an employee, you can step into a student’s shoes.

You already know that Wingate University provides top-notch education for its students. But did you know that as a faculty or staff member, you can share in the Bulldog student experience?

Take advantage of the Employee Tuition Benefit (ETB) program to experience our engaging professors and first-class instruction for yourself. This program allows eligible employees and their dependents to take Wingate University courses free of tuition.

Get Ready to Hit the Books

To qualify for the ETB, you must be employed full time on the main campus or the Ballantyne campus. You must also have worked at Wingate University for at least one year.

You may apply this tuition benefit to one main campus course per semester. It covers up to four classes per semester at Ballantyne.

Spouses and children of full-time faculty, staff and administrative personnel, claimed by Wingate University employees as dependents for federal tax purposes, are entitled to enroll in undergraduate courses at Wingate University’s main campus or the Ballantyne campus under the Employee Tuition Benefit (ETB).

Spouses and children of deceased faculty or administrative personnel, claimed by the surviving spouse as dependents for federal income tax purposes, are also entitled to enroll under the ETB provided that the deceased employee was in the employ of Wingate University 10 consecutive years prior to death and the deceased was an employee of Wingate University at the time of death. In no event may the total value of all federal and institutional financial aid awarded to an ETB recipient exceed the total tuition charges for each semester. The ETB recipient is expected to meet admission standards and all University regulations governing student academic progress, personal conduct, etc. All first-time ETB recipients are required to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Students who receive federal or state entitlement grants must reapply for these funds each year prior to the awarding of the ETB.
