Academic misconduct is taken seriously at Wingate University.
Upholding the Wingate University Honor Code means having a process in place for students who are suspected of violating the code. Students who are suspected of academic misconduct undergo a formal process that begins with a preliminary investigation by an instructor. The process continues based on the availability of evidence and the student’s acceptance or non-acceptance of responsibility as well as imposed sanctions.
