We’re partners in the counseling process.
We’re glad you’ve chosen to meet with a counselor at Wingate University. We’re here to help you gain insight into your situation and find solutions. Counselors don’t give you advice, but they work with you to help identify options and make good decisions. Your communications with your counselor are privileged and confidential.
We want to make sure you know your health information rights. Before or during your first appointment, we request that you read and sign our Informed Consent to Counseling Form (PDF). This confirms that you understand your rights, your responsibilities and the scope of our services. You also need to fill out the first session paperwork before you arrive. We will email you the paperwork with directions to our office once you have scheduled an appointment with us.
We look forward to helping you overcome your challenges and find successful strategies for facing problems.
