This is our promise to you: All that you share with us regarding your disability is kept confidential.

The Office of Disability Support Services takes confidentiality seriously. If you’re a student with a disability, the information you submit is protected by confidentiality regulations. This means:

  1. You need only to disclose the information which would be appropriate for a particular situation.
  2. All disability-related documents, including testing information and requests for accommodations, are housed securely in the Office of the Director of Disability Support Services and Learning Assistance Programs.
  3. Your information is shared only with your written permission.

If you have questions about confidentiality, please stop by the Academic Resource Center on the second floor of the library. We’ll be happy to talk to you. Or you can e-mail or call Director of the Academic Resource Center and Student Success Office Kristin Wharton at 704-233-8366.
