Undergraduate students are not required to bring a laptop to campus, but we strongly recommend that you do. Most of our graduate programs do require a laptop.

Laptops help you to:

  • Do your coursework
  • Conduct online research
  • Browse the Internet
  • Access online campus resources, such as Moodle and Google Apps
  • Stay in contact with family, friends and professors thanks to social media, e-mail and IM

Here are our other recommended specifications for undergraduates. If you’re a graduate student, please refer to the laptop requirements page for your department on the website.
