If you have internship or job opportunities, we want to help you fill them. The Office of Internships and Career Services can help you write and post your internships and job openings. We’ve also created a helpful How to Write a Description guide for you.
Connect with Students and Alumni
Our students and alumni use CareerGate, our online career management system to upload résumés, learn about career opportunities and apply for jobs. Once you register on CareerGate, you can use this online database to:
- Post internships and job openings
- Provide your organization’s profile
- View student and alum résumés
Help Interns Receive Academic Credit
Many students choose to intern to receive academic credit and to gain experience that your organization provides. Helping them with this process is as easy as completing a form. Once you offer a student an internship, employers need to:
- Complete your part of the Supervisor Internship Learning Contract
- Print and sign the form
- Return it to the student
- Work with the faculty supervisor during the internship
Play by the Rules
All employers who recruit students must abide by the National Association of Colleges and Employers Link User Agreement. They must also abide by the NACE Principles for Professional Practice. Employers are also expected to read and agree to follow the Internship Guidebook.
