Students scoring well on CLEP subject exams receive Wingate University credit.
Students take many paths to get to Wingate University and receive credits. Some begin accumulating credits by taking our courses, and others do so through other routes. One of those routes is through College Level Examination Program (CLEP) credits.
A score of 50 or higher on CLEP subject exams generally receives Wingate University credit. For certain subject exams, the score must be at least 63 or 80. The CLEP guide below lists specific equivalents as determined by individual departments.
We have detailed information on our website about transfer credits. Please contact the Office of the Registrar if you have more specific questions about CLEP credits or any other issue. We’re glad to help.
