Students receive DANTES credits by ranking well on tests.

There are many ways for students to earn credits toward their degree. The most common way is to take our classes. But students can choose an alternative route and receive DANTES credits. DANTES, or Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support program is a credit-by-examination program created by the Department of Defense. It is also called DSST.

DANTES Tests

Rank in at least the 50th percentile on DANTES Subject Standardized Tests and you’ll generally receive Wingate University credit. Our DANTES guide lists specific equivalents as determined by individual departments.
