Countless small strokes paint a complete picture.

A “gift” is usually defined as something of value that is transferred from one person to another without compensation. Take a look at a few of the ways your gift enhances the overall Wingate University experience for our current and future students.

Make a Difference

Wingate University may receive income from any source, including, but not limited to:

  • Payments
  • Donations
  • Bequests
  • Devises from wills and trusts
  • Gifts of money through cash, check or credit card (Visa, Discover and MasterCard)
  • Properties
  • Stocks
  • Life insurance
  • Grants and funds

We accept gifts and pledges by mail, phone, in person and online. You can make your gift in a single contribution or through multiple contributions throughout the fiscal year of June 1 to May 31, and depending on the size of the gift, it may be pledged over a 3- or 5-year period. Support of our Annual Fund is the first and best way to begin your support of Wingate University.

If you prefer planned giving, you may wish to defer your gift by naming Wingate University as a beneficiary of an insurance policy, charitable remainder trust or gift annuity that irrevocably names the university as beneficiary.

We are happy to visit and speak with you about your philanthropic goals and how those goals can be achieved. We have a network of trusted partners to help answer financial planning questions if you don’t have an advisor of your own.

Thank you for partnering with Wingate University to shape the future of our university. You can give online today.
