The Office of Gift Planning works with individuals interested in including Wingate University in their charitable estate plan. The office can provide information on bequests, gifts of life insurance or income-producing gifts such as charitable gift annuities and charitable annuity trusts.

To set up a recurring automatic payroll deduction gift to the university, faculty and staff may print and fill out this form then send it via intercampus mail to the Office of Advancement.

The Society of 1896 recognizes donors who give $1,000 or more cumulatively during the fiscal year. The generosity of these donors provides vital support to the University in all aspects.

The Leadership in Loyalty Circle honors donors who have given five or more years consecutively. Donors are recognized at the 5, 10, 15, and 20 year levels. Once a donor reaches 23 years of giving, they are inducted into the Jerry E. McGee Society, which recognizes Dr. McGee’s 23 years of service to Wingate. All members of the Leadership in Loyalty Circle are esteemed for their steadfast commitment to Wingate’s mission.

The Legacy Society recognizes those who have acknowledged Wingate in their estate plans. These donors are honored for choosing to benefit Wingate in this lasting and exceptional way.

Lifetime Giving Circles honors donors who have made cumulative gifts to Wingate of $25,000 or more. These circles are recognized up to $1,000,000 or more. These donors play a significant role in sustaining University life.
